Don't be so fast on passing up the real culprits

Recently on activerain.com, I read an article by Dawn Maloney, ABR with REMAX Commitment regarding Realtors and short sales. As she correctly stated, Realtors did not cause the problem, but we are here to help clean it up. She also states lenders and corporations taking their jobs overseas caused this. I do not fault every lender or corporation, but each of us did our part. The ones I do fault most of all, and it seems like they are all getting a pass, is our politicians. I am not going to single out a party here because I believe they are all at fault. These people make a career in Washington, vote for or against anything that will help them retain their power or get more power and then ask us to let them fix what they destroyed. With all the money changing hands, I am surprised that Realtors have not banded together and ask for a bailout for each one of us. After all, politicians are the ones that created it. In effect, they have put us out of work but we can not draw unemployment.
